StackCare is an innovative remote monitoring system for seniors aging in place. The system uses sophisticated AI and data science to analyze multiple motion sensors and contact sensors simultaneously and to highlight older adults' unusual patterns that may indicate health issues or a fall. The caregiver/family gets notified via an app on their mobile device if there is a potential issue in real time. The system is unobtrusive (the seniors hardly notice the small sensors), private (no cameras or microphones) and very easy to install and use.

Gray Panthers is a member-led organization of activists who speak out for justice, dignity, equity, participatory democracy, inclusion, and peace. This national Gray Panther movement was founded by activist Maggie Kuhn in 1972 to confront agist and sexist attitude and policies.

Gray Panthers-Berkeley East Bay were white allies in solidarity with Bay Area Blank Panther Party members in the 1970s. Some of them are Gray Panthers today! Our members and supporters are people of many ages and abilities, and we support dignity and inclusion for all.
